Bryana's Neutral Baby Boy Shower

Last weekend, we celebrated Bryana and Baby P with a baby shower brunch! Our friend Asia and I threw the shower at her house and it was such a beautiful day!! We shared some of the photos already on Instagram, but figured they deserved a permanent spot here! Scroll to see all of the details (links are at the bottom!), the most delicious coffee punch recipe, and some fun (and most importantly, non-cheesy) baby shower game ideas!

Balloon arch (we left out the metallic gold balloons, and placed in some ruscus and some wild ferns to add some pops of greenery!)

Candles (the candlestick holders were all thrifted and borrowed from a friend)

Vases

Cheesecloth table runner

Acrylic arched signs

We rented the chafing dishes, tables, tablecloths, and white chairs from Superior Equipment & Sales.

COFFEE PUNCH RECIPE

  • ½ c. instant coffee

  • 1 C. sugar

  • 1 c. water

  • 1 pint vanilla creamer (or any flavor)

  • 1 gallon milk

  • ½ bag ice

  • ½ gallon vanilla ice cream

Make Ahead Coffee Syrup: Boil coffee, sugar, and water. Let cool until room temperature and refrigerate if needed.

In a large punch bowl - add milk, flavored creamer, coffee syrup, ice cream and ice. Stir and enjoy!

Note: For large parties or events, I typically 2-4x this recipe. I also use Folgers decaf instant coffee. You can also use dairy-free replacements like oat milk if you'd like. You can also enjoy this as a single serving by combining 8 oz of milk, 2 tablespoons of coffee syrup, 2 tablespoons of creamer, with ice & ice cream.

We had these coffee cups and with “a baby is brewing” written on the sleeve (by our friend) because we all know how much Bryana loves coffee! Haha

We wanted all the guests to just be able to just sit back, visit, and enjoy the shower, so we kept it simple with just a few different activities to keep everyone involved and entertained! Here are the activities we did:

We set these at each seat for the guests to fill out during any down time, less of a game, but more of an opportunity to leave a sweet note to Baby P and for the parents to read!

This one pretty much speaks for itself! A fun way to shower the mama-to-be with some necessary supplies, while also giving everyone who enters a chance to win a special gift!

A creative way to make everyone feel involved and even get to know each other better at the shower!
