Our Small Living Room Refresh

Have you guys ever heard of a project creep? Wellll, that is pretty much what happened here! Haha. It all started with our DIY Modern Farmhouse Fireplace project, which prompted me to repaint our DIY Board and Batten Wall, and that lead to ordering a new rug, and some beautiful artwork for this stunning frame from Art to Frames. And now here we are—a completely unplanned living room refresh (minus the furniture!), but I honestly feel like updating a few of the pieces in your space can really give some life your same old furniture!

As a reminder, here’s how our living room looked before we started the refresh.

I still love that version, but this change feels refreshing! It makes my heart and home so happy.

Last summer when I updated our living room rug it just never quite felt like it was the right fit for this space, I’ve been trying to incorporate warmer tones in our home, so when I came across this rug with mixed with copper, deep tans and light beiges—I knew it would be the perfect addition! It’s stunning and honestly feels like a cloud! Haha.

I’ve been wanting to add some artwork above our couch for quite awhile, so when Art to Frames reached out to work together again, I was SO excited to order this gorgeous 36x24 Inch European Beech Frame! I’d been eyeing some art from Collection Prints and felt like their Spring Field Print added in just the right bit of moodiness while still maintaining the serene vibe we were going for.
